Wayne
Wayne was born in Wisconsin and raised on a dairy farm. After completing school he moved to sunny FL. with his wife and has been treating patients in Charlotte County since 1999. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters and the owner of Progressive Health Plex.
Wayne graduated From Andrews University with his Bachelors of Science and a Masters in Physical Therapy. He is certified by the FL Board Of Physical Therapy, a certified member of IWA, IHRSA and a member of the APTA. Wayne has experience in Acute Care, Home Health and Out Patient settings. He specializes in back and neck pain and is an excellent Manual Therapist.
When not working Wayne enjoys spending time with his family and playing racquetball. He is a camper and loves being outdoors. |

Barbara
Barbara Goffin was born and raised in Glastonbury, CT
Barbara has a AA in education from Lake Michigan College and a AS in Physical Therapy Assistant from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI. She has been a licensed PTA since 1992 and has worked in Skilled Nursing home, Home Health and Out Patient Settings. Currently she co-owns Progressive HealthPlex and has more of an administrative role.
Barb has been married to Wayne for 19 years and enjoys raising their 2 children. When at home you can find Barb scrapbooking or cooking. She loves camping and is training to bike around Lake Okeechobee with her family to celebrate her next birthday. |

Nichole
Nichole was born in Mt. Clemens, MI, and moved to sunny Florida when she was 18 years old. She spent some time out west while attending college, but returned to Southwest Florida to be closer to her family. Nichole has an AA in Liberal Arts as well as her Associate of Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant from Pueblo Community College.
With three years of out-patient experience under her belt, Nichole fits in well here at Progressive. When not working, Nichole enjoys playing volleyball, exercising, going to the beach and spending time with her family. |

Valerie
Valerie was born and raised in beautiful Barre Vermont until the age of 12. At that time she and her family moved to Sarasota, FL.
Valerie received her Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Program from Manatee Community College. She has been working for over four years in Out Patient Rehabilitation settings.
In her free time you may find Valerie bicycling, kayaking or working in her yard gardening. We are so happy to have Valerie as part of the Progressive Team. |

Mark
Mark comes to Progressive Health Plex, North Port, Florida as a mid-west transplant from the west side of Michigan and settled in Southwest Florida in 1998. Before entering physical therapy, Mark successfully experienced numerous years in restaurant, sales, and retail management. He comes from a family that has many years ownership of nutrition stores in Southwest Michigan and a father dedicated to teaching economics. Mark graduated with the coveted Tracy Hager award in physical therapy for the most accomplished student. He has over 10 years experience in outpatient physical therapy and furthered his focus with honors gaining his massage license to better his efforts in manual therapy. His expertise is in progressing patients with a hands-on approach and focusing on manual therapy with an emphasis in therapeutic exercise. His true gift is his sense of humor and dedicating his life to the betterment of his patients. |

Elba
Elba was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.
It was there that she received her education and married her husband. Together with
their three children, they moved to Florida in 1978.
Elba is the very proud grandmother of 3 beautiful grandchildren
Elba recieved her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1972
from the University of Puerto Rico and she has 33 years of experience under her belt.
It is this vast experience ranging from acute care, pediatrics, to in / out patient that
make Elba such an asset to Progressive.
When at home, Elba enjoys decorative painting, reading, and music!

Nancy
Nancy has lived in Punta Gorda Since 1991, and enjoys the warm weather as opposed to the long winters of New England.
While Nancy started her college studies at the University of Florida, she graduated with a BS in Business Management from Johnson State College in Johnson, VT and has since earned as Associate of Science degree Broward Community College. She has been with Progressive for more than a year and loves outpatient therapy as it gives her a chance to become acquainted with her patients.
When Nancy is not at work, you will find her out sailing with Michael, trying to grow orchids, or enjoying the summer weather in vermont.
